In this day there is a procession through Saint Sebastián. It´s say that the image of the Saint was taken to Cusco a few years after the Spanish arrived, quickly becoming a patron of Cusco´s citizen.
The best test of faith for the image occurred in 1922, when it was carried out in the department and ended with the harvests that allowed the donation of supplies for the San Sebastian festival. In response, resources came from suppliers of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the Altiplano. today they are a fundamental part of the festival.
Music, dances, fruits and typical food are the main characteristics of this celebration.
